  • vestas branding identity This project features the re-design of an existing company’s logo and creating new brand identity guidelines. This was achieved by developing the graphic standards, the stationary systems, the online component, the exterior and vehicle signage, some additional applications, and promotional items.   • ben pao branding identity This restaurant logo re-design, is for Ben Pao — an authentic, modern Chinese restaurant located in downtown Chicago. The name Ben Pao means “fireworks” in Mandarin Chinese alluding to the excitement of their cuisine and overall experience. Their new brand position states that the restaurant management is looking to attract new customers while staying loyal to their old ones. They are planning to do that by acquiring a more contemporary look while still maintaining authenticity.     2011 Branding, Graphic Design
  • lincoln park zoo branding identity This project started as a photo exploration of the Lincoln Park Zoo in Chicago, which later turned into an identity project. The new Lincoln Park Zoo identity reflects the recent effort of the zoo management to transform it into a modern, world-class institution, complete with state-of-the-art facilities, in accordance with new standards for education, conservation and care.     2011 Branding, Graphic Design
  • random logos Eleanor Guzzio is providing psychotherapy and counseling services to adults. Using her initials the area of her work is suggested by abstract presentation of left and right brain.
    Silimat is a company producing silicate materials. The logo shows the molecular structure of the silicate.
    BAHC is a non-governmental organization that is trying to preserve the Bulgarian culture in Chicago.

  • wine packaging A wine line targeting young adults is the topic of this project. I chose different ethnic patterns to present the uniquness of the wine taste. The typography is used in support of the ethnic look. The color choice of vibrant warm colors is meant to appeal to the target group. The choice of a gift bag to go with every wine is made since the main purpose of buying wine for this target group is to give it as a present at a party.     2011 Graphic Design, Packaging
  • chocolate packaging Vosges Haut Chocolat is famous for its combinations of chocolate with exotic spices. The concept I developed for packaging their chocolate bars was to turn them into postcards from different countries. The idea is to enjoy the chocolate as a cultural experience - put a piece of chocolate in your mouth and you will be there.     2011 Graphic Design, Packaging

  • magazine publication The monthly journal, Reflections, highlights current art and cultural events in Chicago. This issue features three different events by three different artists: a poster designer (exhibition), a singer (concert), and a movie director (movie week). The layout and typography resonates the style of each individual artist while maintaining unity within the magazine.     2011 Graphic Design, Publishing
